Hi all,
I have had this same noise for about a month now, read this thread and just looked at the elbow intake tube and sure enough its cracked. I am going to order one now. Is this something i have to order OEM or this is something i can pick up in my local auto shop? Can anyone provide a link for the part? Also does the crack affect my gas milage? its been getting worst in the last week. Thanks Last edited by x52006; 05-14-2011 at 06:21 PM. |

Yes, I just had this problem fixed. You will need the elbow intake tube $13.00 and see this link:
http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...e-problem.html This part you will probably need also as you bimmer is probably running rough. When the tube goes bad, it affects your GAS mileage -- to getting almost nothing to the gallon. This part will ease the idling -- will run much, much smoother. |
