Need Encouragement: Doing FSR Repair, Easy, right?

Just as the title says. and damn the part is $146?! wow.

i hope this solves my problems.

Saw the DIY, looks easy, but there are just weird shades of gray involved.

It's easy to do. Once you've done it once, it'll take you minutes the 2nd time.

No need to pull the glove box, although doing so does make accessing the area easier.

It's a simple fix.

It is relatively simple and, I agree, removing the glove box isn't necessary if you're fairly flexible (probably helps to be shorter too).

I got my part on eBay for about $40 delivered. So far, so good (be sure to look at the reseller ratings).

Arghhh. Dealer is telling me the reason for battery drain is my "new battery from autozone" right... They want to charge me 350 for a new OEM one--yeah right.

I still hear the buzzing from the dash when the car is off. I'm still banking on FSR. But it was replaced may 09, pushing for parts warranty here. Doubt they'll cooperate. I'm losing lately!

Easy job. It is really not necessary to remove the glove box. Doing that is just making the job more work. I bought my FSR off ebay also. Works just fine!
