"DOOR OPEN" indicated

with all the doors shut, sensors indicate a door open. upon checking, found out the the front right door was the culprit. actually, the lock of that door already has a problem. it doesnt respond to the central lock button anymore but works manually and with the remote if locked only. they said it 's the actuator. could it be that it's also causing the "door open" problem? can it be repaired or does it need replacing? hope to hear from you guys... thanks
