HEEEEEELP! Wheel carrier link popped out!
I loosened up the top screw on the Link, removed the bolt from the lower one and started removing the bolt on the lower rear side. As soon as the threads of that bolt went out of the front side (where I removed the not) the whole Link went out of place. Looking at it, It looks like compressed air from the air bags are pushing the suspension down and stressing the link out. How do I get the link back in! X currently sitting with one leg in the air right now...heeeelp! thanks! |

UPDATE! I did not empty the air bags. I can see the compressor in the trunk, on which end should I disconnect the blue and red tubes? and is it completely safe to do so?

I couldn't get the link back in even with the airbags empty. not much wiggle room to get both ends of the link inside the carrier.
Taking the car to a real mechanic for ball joint replacement and alignment...
