I cannot find this part number

I need to replace this steering boot and I don't know if it's me or it's not there but I cannot find the part number on realoem.

You mean I got a special model
What are my options? Just take the boot off? or do I need to replace the entire assembly? It works ok but I just wanted to get it fixed.

Eh Duct tape it! haha. Anyways I was looking back at my pictures when I opened up the motor and I don't have that on mine. Starting from the firewall, you see the greet plate, then boot, I have that. But that bigger boot i don;t have. All I see is the steering knuckle, no boot.

Tackling the Valley Pan Gasket are we?

I have to replace the chains, chain guides, tensioners, vanos and all that part, all hoses... I am talking the engine out to do the job. Valley Pan was done a year ago, front shaft last summer and it looks like the problems are getting bigger and bigger...

I cannot find the part number for the assembly that is covered by that boot. Mine has a play and I am pretty sure it is causing the clanking noise I could hear from inside when steering.
Most likely is number 2 in the diagram (32306758076). Can this assembly be fixed or I would have to buy the entire thing?

I have the same boot on my 2000 4.4iX5.
It is also broken and the joint inside is bone dry.
I poured some thick synthetic engine additive and it improved the steering a lot.

hope i will have time to investigate further and replace the broken boot.

I cannot find this part number for the joint for my X. It looks like number 2 in the pic above has the part number for 2002 up. How can I find it for the models up to 2002?
