Elbow Intake Tube/ DISA Valve

Hi All,

For months now i have had a whistling sound coming from the X. I didn't pay much mind to it until this weekend when the sound got louder and my gas mileage decreased BIG TIME.

After reading a few threads I found a crack in my elbow intake tube. A new one is on it's way.

My question is do i have to replace the DISA valve, are they one in the same. Once one goes the other will? should i chance it and see if just replacing the intake tube does it?

Just replace the broken part .. If disa valve still good leave it alone.
