DVD head rest wiring into rear cigarette lighter

Hi all

Hoping for some quick advice. Just purchased a dvd head rest from china for my son to watch while on long drives. Instructions aren't great so need some help.

Was thinking of wiring it into the rear cigarette lighter to provide the power rather than running to the battery or engine bay - has anyone done this (or something similar) before?

Anything to know? I've never done this before - i do work on my cars regularly but more mechanically rather than on the electric stuff so my knowledge is limited. Am happy to take my time and not rush anything - just need a bit of guidance.

Have tried googling etc and not found anything specific - any help much appreciated
