Do Ronal make OE BMW Wheels ?

Hi,
I just missed out on picking up a set of s/h genuine style 168 wheels, and now have two choices.

The chinese replicas are not an option for me.

So I can either wait for another set to come up, or go with a set of Ronal replicas. The shop that is selling them assures me that these are identical to the OE wheel because they make them for BMW. He imports them from Germany so at least (assuming they are genuine Ronal), I have the peace of mind that they are TUV approved.

I know that this was the case for the Genuine Schnitzer Type 3 that I had on my E39. They even had Ronal stamped inside. I checked the Ronal website but they only show their aftermarket wheels. The price is around £750 ($1100) supply only.

So what do you reckon guys? Give them a go? Does it sound believable that Ronal would have a back-door market for OE wheels?

Thanks for any advice. Kev.

What do you
