X5 Windscren Washers
I had something similar on my 2006 3L D in that the washer jets would just about reach the screen.
Removing the 2 x 10mm plastic nuts securing the washer bottle allows it to be lifted and tilted forward for access to the pump motors. Tilt the motor away from the tank body and lift it to remove . This leaves two rubber collars still in the tank - Pull these out and they are small filters , these were clogged up on mine - I can now wash the screen of the car behind me !

yes its usually these mini filters that get clogged up or the pump is leaking. there is diy on replacing the pump.

Looked for this DIY and could not find it. I am having an issue with the windshield only (rear and headlights work fine) the pump sounds like it is working. I am guessing my filters are clogged, but just in case I would like to get a look at this.
