Lots of water dripping underneath vehicle ..

its leaking from the shiny metallic pipes on the left and right under the vehicle and at a distance from the front bumper right where the driver/passenger mirrors are.

Looks like water and not coolant?

I just returned from a 175 mile trip .. did I just dodge a bullet??? I think I'll drive the other car tomorrow. Its a 740i .. so I hope this isn't contagious!

thanks!!

Is it not just the aircon emptying the water that has collected, I think that they are located in that area.

Don't know about the aircon emptying water .. coolant level is just fine and water evaporated. Disturbing to see it on the garage floor for sure.

every air con system needs to drain water formed in humid environments

My x5 drips like a open faucet. It is AC condensation.

I had that too. Found that my washer fluid reservoir rear pump was leaking.

I do get the condensation due to the high humidity here, but this time it wasn't.

Sounds very much like AC condensation water. That water is directed to tranny area in the middle of the car.
