Whistle Does anyone know a good place to buy tires online?

I've only used tire rack in the past and have no issues whatsoever with their product or service, but their prices have climbed up since my last order a few years ago.

appreciated!

I've used Luke at TireRack, though I have a great Discount Tire locally managed by a true car nut who has a staff that knows how to properly mount on nice wheels. Either will have the tires you need and the customer service to back it up.

Keep in mind that tire prices have gone up a lot because of the price of oil.

I typically use Discount Tire Direct, and I've never had any issues.

X2 on the cost of oil. I was on the fence about which tires to get and they went up a total of $55 in less than a week on the set.

I personally haven't bought tires online but my cousin has used treadepot and he was very happy. He said price are a little less than tire rack.

Wouldn't be able to tell you about customer service or selection though.

I just bought a set of Hankook Ventus RA07's from Discount Tire. Prices are very good, people are knowledgeable, shipping was fast and no hitches. They actually match pricing and sometimes will beat the competition. Overall, a very good experience. Prices also INCLUDE shipping.

I once ordered a set from Discounttiredirect.com at a killer price.....it turned out to be classical bait and switch. What I had ordered was on back order for the next ten years....and ofcourse they could not send me another set at the same price and so on....

I believe you live in LA. I suggest trying America's Tire http://www.americastire.com/dtcs/home.do

I have purchased all my tires from these guys for the past 12 years or so. Their price is competitive. They offer free balance and rotation for the life of your tire. They also fix your flat tire for free. I have been very happy with these guys.
