2005 (Facelift) 4.4i Adaptive / Bi-Xenon / Angel Eye Headlight Concerns...
Hello all,
I recently got married May 28th and our dream car arrived the very same day! Our 2005 BMW X5 4.4i! We purchased this X out of state from TX, had a inspection done by an independent company and everything looked all good. Well upon arrival things weren't exactly "all good" After inspecting the headlights I noticed there were some "issues" So I've searched and searched and can not seem to locate any info for my exact issue. The first problem is the driver side projector is somehow stuck point all the way to the left and will not center. The leveling seems to be working ok, however the lateral movement is not. Any advice on repair? or is replacement the only option...? The second issues with the headlights is the passenger side inner angle eye seems to have somehow got dislodged and is out of alignment as well. I know that with preface lifts we can bake the headlights to separate them to make any repaired or upgrades, however this does not seem possible with facelifts....? Any advice is appreciated! Best, Saloon Cliff note: Driver side projector is somehow stuck pointed all the way to the left and will not center.
