Strange electronic problems

I'm experiencing weird problems with my 2000 4.4i. When I start it up the emergency flashers are on, and the cabin lights stay on until I open and close the door again. If I leave the car unlocked, the cabin lights stay on and the car doesn't go into sleep mode. When I lock the car the rear hatch unlocks but the cabin lights go out and the car eventually sleeps.

I recently replaced the FSR because of the usual problems but it started doing all this strange stuff while the FSR was removed (it took me a couple of weeks to get a replacement). I tried disconnecting the battery to see if that would "reboot" the system but it had no effect.

Any ideas would be appreciated
