OBC wont ding

The speed alert on the OBC/mid wont ding any more.
Example: set speed to 75mph. Memo set to on. Alert never sounds when X is at 75+mph. The alert flashes on the mid though. This used to work..Also the chime on every hour is not working either. Maybe If I disconnect battery and wait 20 minutes. Is there a fuse or something maybe a lose wire anyone know?

I never had my X Chime when a new hour came but mine is an 02 and urs is an 06.the only way i can possible help involves the glove box.when i was trying to the glove blox light i found a fuse for it.but when i removed the fuse it turned off all interior and got rid of the chimes or "dings" your talking about. So my sugesstion is checking the fuses.i cant kno for sure it will b the same fuse for ur X since its newer so u might have to go fuse hunting

I'm just curious, what do you use this feature for?

The speed limit alarm A.K.A. wife lead foot limiter alarm.
When the wife and myself are in the X and she accelrates and forgets how fast shes going. 76mph (beep beep) - honey whats that noise.. and why is it saying limit 75mph.. oh I need to slow down speed limit is only 55mph. Useful on those long trips out of state. thats my usage.. and to keep my own speed down trying to keep a clean drivers record.
