This ever happen to anyone's X???

Went out to start my 06 3.0 and noticed that the passenger door didn't open with the key unlock switch or the switch by the shifter. Also noticed that that window & mirror don't work either. It's like all power to the passenger door is gone. My girlfriend has to go in my door and crawl over to the other seat. What a pain in the ass!!! I live 3 1/2 hours from the nearest dealership so do you think it's possible that the dealership will come get it to service it or will I have to take a whole day off, pay for the fuel and put those miles on it? Has anyone had a dealer come get their BMW and service it?

Did you unlock the door manually by simply opening the door handle inside, I assume you did unless you "forced" your girl to climb out your side as well

Seems like a odd electrical issue. Does the rear door unlock on the passenger side?

Yeah, when you pull the door handle from the inside it does not open. It's locked and pulling the door handle does not unlock it. The rear passenger door does open and operates fine.

Is this just a sporadic incident or does the problem always occur?

I've had sporadic incidnets where the remote will only unlock the driver's door no matter what. I'll press the remote plenty of times, and even hit the central unlock button, and the other doors will fail to unlock. I have to lock the car via remote and unlock it and then the problem disappaers.

No, this is a "one-time" thing but it's been 2 days now and I still can't open the door. If I'm inside I can pry the door lock knob up and it will spring back down. Even with the know pried up & holding it there the door handle will not open the door.
