It's happened twice now, driving in fairly heavy rain with the wipers on the intermittant/auto setting and they stop working. In the parked position, so it's not immediately obvious there's anything wrong until you suddenly realise you can't see ! Waggling the stalk around makes no difference. Turning the car off and back on "fixes" it but obviously requires you stop to do so, and that's not necessarily easy or safe to do. Driving with no wipers isn't very safe either.
Any ideas ? Where's the controller for the wipers ?
