Aftermarket suspension replacement parts....MTC, URO, Febi, etc
Mission Trading Company Inc. Seems to be made and tested to the same quality as BMW parts only with much less overhead (ie costs less to make and sell). |

Lemforder, BMW, & Febi only. Others are crap
Don't go for the cheapest suspension parts. I had the same thought tO buy some that were made in USA; Karlyn brand. I installed thrust arms and wishbones and had an alignment just before a 400 mile trip. The ball joints became loose to the point the whole truck was shaking. I could not safely drive above 50 mph.
By the time I returned home, the thrust bushings were leaking fluid everywhere. I removed the wishbones and I could literally almost pull the ball joints out of their sockets with my hands. To top it off my front tires were now cupped and they were trashed. Decided to go with BMW wishbones, Lemforder thrust arms, and powerflex bushings. No problems since, knock on f'n wood. Don't trust those other brands. |
