I have never thought of that option, but seems like a possibility. Any idea what I would be looking at cost wise? I am also assuming that I would not have to resort to dealers only. Body shops, maaco etc etc?

matyoka dude your fucking picture gives me nightmares man, that is one ugly ass annoying ass dude. that being said to paint the whole car i would think you go into 3kish range, so weigh your options in az it aint that bad plus dont bmw have that aux fan thing where you can set it so the car runs air through at the set time???

LOL Tema, that's why I use it, plus it is my favourite pic!!! As far as AZ goes, just got back a couple of weeks ago and the 115 F in the wife's dark blue vehicle felt like HELL...

Yea.what you could do is get the paint number/code from someone who has a silver x.take that to a shop so they can find it and paint it for u

IMHO, A full paint job is going to be a bit of a problem with resale value......
