Vibrations

My x5 started "shacking" when idling at a red light in D. in R the "shacking" goes away and only returns when its in D. If anyone can help me help identify this it would be great. There are no codes and this issue seems to happen when car is fully warmed up. Please help

It's hard to say. It could be so many things. I actually have the same problem and just decided to live with it. I didn't want to spend the time & money to look into the issue. If you were to do a search on the boards regarding this, every one has a different solution, if any.

How many miles do you have on your X5? What major repairs have you done lately?

Here's a thread that's relevant: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...t-brake-2.html

If you do get it fixed, be sure to let the board know. Good luck

UPDATE: might not be big news to some(if any care) but its not the disa valve. also checked for vacuum leaks and there are none, now im thinking my problem is tranny related because in R i dont feel any vibrations, only in D. 123. D/s. so to the shop i go. and i didnt check coils yet because i think i would've gotten check engine light if fuel wasn't burning properly.
