Very glad I have CPO and maintenance warranty

I've had my X5 for about 3 years now and the CPO and maintenance warranty has paid for itself many times over. I'm going out of warranty in a few months but so far these are the major things which have been covered,

new tires installed when bought the car
replaced tranny
inspection 1 and 2 done
front and rear brake pads changed
replaced all wood trim panels in car(except rear door ones)
2 window regulators
2 CV boots
PDC control unit
new battery
F&R wipers replaced twice(haha)
replaced rear sun shade

I have a good mechanic who has been doing work on my M5 for a few years but I'm crossing my fingers once I go out of warranty. I'm glad I found this forum because it's a wealth of useful info for this car.

Scott

I bought the car with the CPO warranty. The maintenance warranty cost $1400. $1400 is not that cheap compared to me only paying $1000 for my M5 maintenance warranty but it's better than what my local dealer was offering.

How did you get tires replaced? Are they covered under the 4/50k maintenance?
