Slight lurch under braking at high speed

I'm just about to get my X5 serviced.

It has an issue when braking reasonably hard at high speed (i.e. on the motorway). It feels like it lurches forward very slightly when you do so - almost feels as if something is a bit loose. This problem doesn't seem to affect the braking in any way but it feels a bit disconcerting.

I seem to remember reading a thread on this last year and they mentioned replacing some parts (bushes?). Can anyone help on this - I'd like to tell the mechanic what to check and replace.

Sorry for the non-techie language - I hope you get the point!

Thanks

Could the brakes possibly need bleeding? Maybe your are feeling spongey brakes?

Thanks for the answer. It doesn't feel like spongey brakes, although I'll be finding out quite soon - the clock sign was on so the brake fluid is being replaced. Will report back.
