x5 2004 parking light bulb replacement

Anyone can give clear instructions how to change burned parking lights, both front are dead, died one by one. Do I need to remove the whole light to get to the bulb?

Rear is about the easiest thing on the planet -- remove the back panel/cover inside the cargo area near the light. The back of the lights is exposed - twist off the bulb from the backside. No tools needed on the passenger side, can't think of what's on the driver's side (we have an issue on the passenger side and I'm constantly back there).

LOL - obviously reading comprehension is not my strong suit. I think I read "are dead" as "and rear".
