One day last week the engine started running poorly again. Check engine light was blinking indicating a misfire. You could feel it too. Stopped at a stop sign and the engine died. Never to start again. Over the past few months the following ignition has been replaced. * Starter * Coil Packs/Plugs * Battery I'm getting fuel pressure as checked by a gauge. I'm not getting any spark out of the coils. On none of them. I doubt all of the coils died at once. Also, I used a different plug not out of the car to check as well in case the plugs had fouled. I replaced the crank position sensor in hopes it was causing it not to see when to spark. I also pulled the MAF cable and tried it.. Pulled the Throttle cable and tried it. Hoping it would do something in a fail safe mode.. **ALL** fuses have been checked. Still no spark. What else could it be? ECU? I'm drawing blanks at this point and since this is the family wagon I need to get it going quick. *Any* suggestions are appreciated. Brandon |

Head in the direction of the ignition switch.

I checked it today. Everything inside the white ignition switch looked brand new. The contacts were clean and not discolored. I cleaned it anyways and popped it back in there.
Still no start. I had it hauled to a local repair shop that has the tools to diagnose the problem better than I do. He said it's more than likely the DME. We'll see. Brandon |
