hey, this noise has been driving me crazy, i attached a link to a youtube video if anyone can help id appreciate it

i changed the belt 3 times and the tensioner pulley, noise goes away for a few hours after each repair and comes back. noise usually comes when the car warms up at idle and goesa way when i press the gas.

i have read around that water pumps may cause similar noises, im not sure if this may help, but when i applied a little bit of belt grease, the noise disappears for a few days n then come back slowly

Question

Hey Dr. X5

Did you replace the pump yourself? How hard was it?

i have the same issue sort of like a esquicky noise? coming from front of engine IMO it was a dirty serpentine belt, so what i did was grabbed my garden hose with nozzle attached of course set at jet spray and start spraying the belt several times. start the engine and just let it idle for some minutes.that should eliminate the front engine noise youre hearing. i have done this yesterday and the noise disappered.try this easy steps it doesnt cost you a dime.
