Mud flaps?

Anybody got (or at least seen in real life) an X5 with the OEM mud flaps? Not talking about the kind with Yosemite Sam saying "Back Off!" They sell them for front and rear.

I think they look fine. My X is Toledo blue so they blend in very well. Might look too much on a lighter motor. I'll take some pics at the weekend and post them up.

I have them on mine too.

I have a 3.0D Sport with the side steps. I've got some piccies but they'll need resizing before I put them up. 8MB each at present!!

Just awaiting the windscreen fitting service to come and put my new one on. Got a crack across the LHS so the screen now needs changing.

Doc, Check out the pictures of my posts in these two treads =>

1. http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...-x5-3-0-a.html

2. http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...stalled-3.html

The mudflaps are very functional as I hardly get any craps thrown onto the rear bumper and bottom of the side modings anymore. I didn't quite like the look at first because (1) the weird inside cut of the rear flaps, but it's hardly noticeable. (2) the flaps somewhat took away the agressive looks of the rear fatty 285s. On the other hand, the front ones look nice...so I would at least get that.

Note: Just so you know, the rear flaps required some extra window adhesive to prevent them from flopping around and mar up the bumper moldings while the front are just screwed on.

I have a pair of flaps for the front that I will never use since I have the aluminum running boards and the flaps won't work with the board (there are special flaps for cars with the boards). If you want them, PM me.
