Front Brake Shudder
Have an '02 X5. I just replaced my front brakes, rotors and calipers. Then, I replaced ball joints, upper and lower control arms. Now, brakes really shudder when I brake. Bought the Lemfoerder suspension parts. Was expecting it to drive like new but shudder seems to have gotten worse. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Did you have an alignment done after the suspension install?

No, but I can't see how an alignment is going to cause the steering wheel to shake when I apply brakes at high speed. I also don't think its rotors because problem got worse just after I replaced ball joints, control arms and sway bars. If it were alignment wouldn't it track to one side or the other? It drives straight.

Anytime you replace lower control arms, an alignment is 100% necessary. I would tell you to start there.. It will probably fix the problem
