Drivers Side Window won't go up

Window has been going up and down slower than the other three for a few months now. Today, I rolled the windows down (beautiful day in Nashville) only to find out that the driver side window will not go back up - all others are operating to spec. The driver side window starts to (moves about 1/8") but just stops.

It seems like the window is either stuck or there isn't enough power going to the source to raise / lower the window.

Has anyone experienced this prior? If so, what is the fix to the problem? I've done a quick search on the forum but haven't found anything that is identical to my issue.

The best solution is remove the door panel and check for broken cable ( if not broke) just just spray some liquid wrench white lithium grease into the window rail track.( just did that to mine last sunday it works like a charm)

UPDATE:

Now the drivers door handle (outside) is sticking out about 1/2" - its not flush like its supposed to be. I'm thinking that maybe there is an internal problem instead of the motor going bad.

I'm going to pull the door skin off this afternoon and take a look.

Thoughts?
