Weasel will become famous soon enough
I still laugh from my X5's trips to the hunting camp with the washed out road filled with big mud holes... both 4x4 chevy trucks got stuck, and ended up with bumper parts torn off from hitting the ground etc. and the X5 made it through unscathed, and had to pull one of them out! All about the nut behind the wheel I guess. I do not miss the cleanup I had to do afterwards though... there was mud EVERYWHERE!

I plan on sticking around for a while for sure, but a warning... since I'm in the middle of moving so might end up having a week or so without internet before it is hooked up in the new place, and the phone has no data connection at all in the boonies.

Sent PM about 20" wheels for sale. I'm interested if you are willing to ship to WA State.

Weasel, I feel your pain and suggest grief counseling.

You have been such a great source of knowledge on this forum, I hope you get another X5 so you can help the rest of us cuz I doubt you will lurk on here without one. So sorry for your loss my friend.

Your 4.6 is the same year as mine. I run the same wheel arrangement as you do. I run the staggered 20' spring summer and fall and the same 18"s on a set of winter tires. Best of luck on your next project. Did you have an after market exhaust, I could not remember? If and when you decide if you will sell the 20" wheels, shoot me an email, I may be interested. Thanks and good luck.
