Front End Clunk after most things replaced !!!

Can you guys help me at all,i've been chasing a clunk on the front end of my 4.8 for the past few weeks. It only started after i had the control arm bushes replaced with poly ones. After reading this forum i have also replaced the sway bar links but i am still getting this clunk when at low speed over pot holes and bumps etc.
Anybody got any ideas ??

Thats what i'm thinking. The polys might have moved the focus of the slack on to the ball joint. I'll get a pair ordered and see how it goes.

Ball joints are more like "creaks" than "clunks."
Did you check the basics - tighten the strut's top mount bolts?

Yeah i tried all the strut tops, especially since they have been refitted recently with Arnott springs. Its just funny that the clunk should appear as soon as i had the control arm bushes changed to polys.

Double check sway bar. I have had a lot of experience with previous vehicles and sway bar bushings have driven me buts over the years. The worse was a bushing that had worn the center hole for the bolt/link oval and under an odd combo of turning and bumps , would allow end link to contact sway bar with a clunk. You could hear it clear as day outside vehicle.

Hope its as simple as this.

Had the ball joints changed today and thats the end of my clunk !!! I hate clunks and rattles, the only noise coming out of a V8 should be out of the exhaust !

Same problem

I replaced just about every suspension component in the front end.

Sway Bar Endlinks
Control Arms (This includes outer ball joint and inner bushings)
Thrust Arm Bushings
Thrust Arm Ball Joints
Complete Tie Rods

Checked torque on subframe and steering rack.

The only thing I can think it might be at this point is something inside the air struts or the steering rack.

Any luck?

TIA
