Depos Installed

Hi all, just thought I would post my new Depos. Pretty happy with them, they look alot better and the HID upgrades that came with them are great, however they are throwing codes when they are off. But I'll fix that up.

The angel eyes are UHP LED, 60 per ring. They are pretty bright.

Cheers,

Brett

Get the load resistors to eliminate the code. Pretty nice.

Cheers,

Yeah I'll order some in the next couple of days. Its amazing how bright the angel eyes are, I couldnt believe it. They are nearly on par with the original halogen low beams, the halogen were terrible.

STELLAR upgrade!!
I need to do this.

So your X5 already had factory low beam xenons correct?
And the new Depo's accepted the original bulb no issues?

Yeah mate, I installed them myself. Think it took just over an hour. Wasn't too bad. I still need to align the right hand light a bit better in the housing, the indicator isn't flush with the side of the car, hardly noticeable though.

As Jordo said, easy install. Mine was halogen to start with so had to get ballast etc from the vendor, he was helpful. However if you have factory xenon, its even easier, as they take the D2S setup.

The guy I bought them from is redcomet on eBay.
