corner lights

So I inquired about having my amber corner lenses turned off while driving and used only as turn signals. I never got a response. Can someone help me out?

I have a 2004 X5 4.4 with xenons.

I don't know if it can be done by software, but it can certainly be done by hardware.
If you cut the positive wire going to the flasher, and insert the NO contact of a 12VDC relay, then, wire the relay coil between the positive and negative wires coming from the car, the relay will engage only when the flasher is ON (12V) but not when running on the parking lights (6V).

If you think that a relay makes too much noise (click, click...) you can use instead a SSR (solid state relay) which is an arrangement of electronic parts (SCR, transistors) in a potted plastic box. A bit more expensive, but no moving parts.
I'm pretty sure Digikey carry them.
Good luck.

Killcrap can do it by programming. Read the link of this thread. I have mine schedule on Nov 12. He's busy on weekends. He's in downtown Chicago 25 min away from me. Cheers!
