The v8 dosnt offer a 6 speed manual. There's not to many out there!
Any other ideas

There was an old time member that turbo'd his e53, but it was the V8 auto, from memory...I dug around and found this pic I took of his car, but I can't find the under hood pic. Pic is from a fabulous World X5 Meet, held in Southern Cal, in Oct 2006. His handle was KirkX5, but I haven't seen him on this board for a long time.
It was a beautiful install...and, I seem to recall a couple other posters doing the turbo deal too, but I think they were all V8s. I agree w/JCL: it would be expensive. GL, mD
