X5 4.6 tranny problems again

Hello folks,

I've got an '03 X5 4.6 with about 110 k miles on it. Rusnak BMW replaced the tranny at approx 60k. However, in the last couple of days there is some noticeable slipping from 3-4 and 4-5 when moderately accelerating. Off the line it pulls fine, however when I'm cruising at about 40-50 and trying to moderately accelerate, it slams into the next gear quite violently. And it does it pretty consistently in the last couple of days.

So far no error codes and a diff fluid change was done about 1 month ago. No transmission fluid change done.

The tranny only has 50k on it. What's my next step ? Could it be the TC or the tranny ?

Any suggestions and inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Ed
