Farewell my good friends.

Sold my X5 replaced it with a sensible ford edge. I got tired of the constantly failed small stuff (big dollars) and errant codes. The edge is no x5 but it is quite nice for what I need it for. I'm hoping it will be more reliable.
If I get another BMW it will be recent convertible. But then there are so many nice cars out there.
It was fun while it lasted... al-feet-er-zane!

Good Luck, Ghost-Flame...
Our DIL has an Edge, couple three years, and it runs well for her.

Keep your big VTX1800C under a buck twenty and between the fences.

It was always good input when you responded to threads here on X0utpost.

Be safe on the roads, EXTRA safe on the bikes!

Good luck.

BTW, is the Ford Edge the vehicle in the commercial where a lady says that she traded in her BMW for it...and her father liked her new Ford so well...that he traded in his Lexus? Just curious.

My 93 Ford Ranger is more reliable then my X5. I drive the Ford in the winter because it doesn't have a mayo problem for short drives like the X. Haven't need to replace any of the wheel sensor for the ABS on the Ford, while three wheel sensors have been replaced on the X. Still on the original MAF with the Ford, on my second MAF with the X.
