Final drive fluid

Do we need to change the final drive fluid? I don't see it in the maintenance schedule from the dealer.

i had mine done at the 110,000km service, both diffs and transfer case, i dont think it is required in the service schedule, i just did it cause i wanted to, and to give the car the best chance of long term reliability

Final drive, transmission fluid, etc. are all considered by BMW to be "lifetime" fluids which is why they do not show up as maintenance items. Translated - change every 100K miles. I typically use BMW fluids but have used Redline in the diffs.
