Hi Guys
I'm posting for a friend who has an X5 3.0D. He wants to activate his Aux Heater but when he's spoken to dealers no one has been able to help. He's found it can be done with the Scanner 1.4 which he's bought off eBay. Granted he's had a few problems getting it to install etc but seems ok ish. Unfortunately it only communicates with 2 out of the many ECU's. We've read pins 7&8 need to be bridged to get it to work with the remaining ECUs. Does anyone have any guidance or had to do this to make theirs work. Were scratching our heads quite a bit at the moment so any help would be great.
