Spec-d projector headlight??

SPEC-D® - Black Dual Halo Projector Headlights - 2002 BMW X5 Spec-D Halo Projector Headlights - Spec-D LHP-X500JM-TM

SPEC-D® - Black Dual Halo Projector Headlights, any one use it on your car?

Good or bad?

Any suggestion on a full upgrade on headlights (from halogen to HID)

Spec D Projector Headlights

It doesn't sound like they perform well as far as light output.

They won't work with the OEM self-leveling xenon option.

Spec-D won't work, Depo will, but it sounds like you don't have that option if you don't have the OEM xenon lights, I don't think the regular halogen lights had the self-leveling feature.

Agreed. The purpose of modding is to make your X look better, not shitty.
Spend the money - buy the DEPO's.

I'd go Depo too. They made a decent set for the E36's I've seen them on. Those might be decent quality, but they might make your X look cheap... I'd want to see them on someone else's first.
