possible transmission oil leak and other transmission questions

I'm getting some oil on the garage floor directly below the front rim of the transmission cover. My 2004 x5 has about 90K miles. Anyone had transmission oil leaks? Could it be just the gasket?

mine have same, verify all the bolts are strongly bolted. the leak stopped like this for me.
