2001x4.4 is on a distinguished road
Need clarification before ordering parts for axles, seals, ball joints...

So my friend has talked me into tackling this job rather than sending it to the stealership or indy. I have to replace both of my front axles. It appears that most people on here use Empi with good results.

I am set to order the following parts:
Output shaft seals:01 2001 BMW X5 Output Shaft Seal - Transmission - Corteco, National, PartsMaster - PartsGeek

Empi axles:
01 2001 BMW X5 Axle Assembly - Driveshaft & Axle - EMPI, First Equipment Quality, A1 Cardone, Front Left, Front Right, Rear - PartsGeek

While I am in there, I will also replace the ball joints pointing downward. Are these called the front lower ball joints? #15 from the diagram.

Much appreciated if someone can provide inputs into whether these are the correct parts.

Thanks in advance.
