stalling at speed 80 mph while passing in heavy traffic

Help this 2003 is trying to kill me. It did not give any warning that it was going to stall, no stumble, not even a hicup it just left me out on the the left side of the two lane road with nothing but my super human quick thinking confused state of mind to save me from a certain firey death. The X does restart but does not run for more than 45 seconds at a time. WHAT IS UP WITH THIS. HELP

Alternator? Look up how much voltage you are running on when that happeneds or before and then after

I took it to the dealer it was the mass oxygen sensor not to costly to repair 650 $ but its up to speed again. Thank you for your reply. Julie
