I changed my rear air springs/bags out a month ago with them and so far no problems.

I am in the process of installing these right now. They are easy to install on your core shock/struts. So far, the only hitch has been that the air line connection is a little higher and goes straight in the side versus the OEM unit which angles down by 45 degrees. As a result, I had to open the plastic fender liner and un-ziptie the air line to get an extra inch to reach the new air spring. I haven't finished yet, so hopefully no leaks!

Finally got my air spring and as I compare it to the old one, I'm a bit confused how it will work. Thanks e39_touring for your idea on the air line connection; that's one of my concerns. My other big concern is that the new air spring has a fixed head while the old one had a rotating head.
Can anyone help clarify this for me? Thanks!

The head on the Arnott spring rotates just like the OEM one. It's a bit stiffer, but that's probably because the seals are new. Other than the air line difference, I found the swap to be very straight forward following the instructions.

I've done both of my front bags with Arnott replacements.
I would advise pulling the fuses for the air suspension before raising the X off the ground for any reason - argue if you want - but I DID have ride height issues and had to have mine recalibrated once so far as a direct result of "improperly" lifting the vehicle. It coincidentally was the one time I did not pull the fuses. (was not during air bag replacement though). quick tips for this job: 1). lube the large o-rings around the base of the strut before fitting the new bag. 2). remove the plastic plug from the air-line fitting on the new bag before attempting to install it onto your strut. if you leave it in there, you won't be able to push the bag down far enough to get the nut started on the top. 3). the rubber cap/plug that goes on the top and is held in place by the 14mm nut goes in exactly the opposite of how it looks. the smaller end of the taper goes UP. when you put the retaining washer and nut on, it will squish out and make a good seal.

resurrecting ...
can you just replace one air spring only? or does it have to be both pair (fronts)? Cheers!
