What the title says and also its a 12" kenwood with a pheonix 500 Watt amp...

Worth it? 489$ (with tax and installation)

one 12 is sufficient. dont bother with two, overkill. getting subs or sub?

Just one and its a R500 Pheonix gold amp if that changes anything haha.

I had a set of 2 12" subs with amp. After 2 days removed the subs. It was definitely too much. Couldn't stand it. The hall car was shacking. Once again its up to you. I prefer clean sound rather than sound of shaking parts.
Now thinking about to get my self just one 10" sub.
I did the installation by my self. You can find plenty of information on line on how to do it by yourself. Do the inst yourself and I think that will save you 50% of what you are about to pay.
