There isn't much you can do to it, just cosmetic modifications.

I'm putting a TwinTurbo System on it, that's I need some tuning software.

Dinan offers an engine program/tune with cold air intake and exhaust system but it doesn't yield any significant advantage over stock. ESS recently announced a supercharger system for the N62 motor. It's been in the works for some time but not sure if they've actually developed on a test E53 vehicle, like Dinan did with the 4.6iS. Do a search on this forum for ESS supercharger...Just be aware of the major parts/labor costs involved. |

I believe ESS sells a self-tuning kit for the XM's. |

Dinan software on the 4.8is is amazing! Totally transforms the car. I think Dinan is the only company that offers ECU software for the 4.8is.

Why don't you use a stand alone ECU that will control the ignition and fuel? (Keep the OEM ECU for the rest). Install load resistors to foul the OEM ECU.
Start with base maps, then spend a day on the dyno to tune and you should be good to go. You may loose DSC, but if you drive a twin turbo V8, you shouldn't need DSC anyways. Are you going to lower the CR with the new pistons? |

Honestly at this point it's looking like I'm going to use the Chevy LS with the 6l80e and transfer case that's the strongest set up integrated with the stock computer, be down the road from there with a thousand horsepower and reliable.
