Hello, I have the same problem with my X5, the passenger side mirror doesn't "lock" and move freely when I close my door. I would like to know if you can post pictures and your fix. Thanks from France

Using the fold button on the window switch to fold my mirrors in a few times fixed my driver's side mirror. Have you tried this?

Thanks for the quick reply, Unfortunetaly my mirror isn't folding, I guess that the motor in dead, I checked the bolts under the mirror and they seem fine but the mirror is still moving when closing the door

Update : I found the reason why my side miror were moving while closing the door, when the cap is out, there are 3 screw, they were a bit loose after tighting them the problem is solved.
