Bavauto good source for parts?

Need secondary air pump and pump control valve. Bavauto has them with the pump being about $50 less than anyone else. Do you have feedback from buying parts from them? Thanks

i typically buy from bavauto or pelican, based on price - but always buy OEM supplier parts for reliability and performance

I can't STAND Bavauto.

Auto Parts at AutohausAZ - OEM Auto Parts - Discount Replacement Parts, Resources and Car Care Tips is my first go-to.

Pelican Parts has a good selection, but often at a higher price.

OEM / Performance Parts for Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Mini, Porsche & Volkswagen - ECS Tuning has clear distinction between OEM and OE parts, often along with great pics for reference, too. Not the best on price.

getBMWparts.com is my favorite OEM supplier when all else fails.

Bavauto is good. No issues here.

Mike at Bavauto helped me out with choosing new Bilstein shocks and struts for an E36 I sold this summer. Prices were good, service was great. I would go to them again.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I feel better about contacting bav auto. Also thanks about the link to autohauz. Called them today and they were about $35 dollars cheaper for same oem brand for both parts combined. And definately going oem, learned my lesson with cam shaft sensors!

Let me tell you this, I have been a Bavauto customer for over 10 years and always had quality parts. BUT- last week had to replace the X5 expansion tank and the part they sent was not OEM quality. Very disappointed. So lets hope that is not a new trend.

You'll get what you order, no bad notes on that.

But before you do you might want to check rockauto.com. Depending on the item, even oem manufactuer items can be about 1/2 the price of Bav Auto. I know that's the case with Bosch alternators or Bosch MAF, for example.
