I bought my e53 with 100,000 miles on it. My left side mirror is an electric fold mirror and the right side is a non electric mirror. I much prefer the non electric because my electric one is a little flimsy and the non electric where the motor would normally sit is just a robust plastic knob thing. Anyone know where I can buy just the plastic bit so that I can replace the motor in the electric one so that it becomes fixed (but sturdy). Otherwise anyone know when the electric fold came in so that I can get a mirror from a wreck in a model before that and retrofit it?
