Mirrors dont dip in reverse

Is there some setting that I need to adjust? Neither mirror tilts down when I put it into reverse

you may have a bad motor. but first make sure the mirror selector switch is to the driver mirror position as it must be in this position to activate tilt on reverse. If that does not solve it then you may have a bad motor.

Make sure your left or right mirror selector is set to left (driver side) and then put it in reverse - your passenger side mirror should now tilt down. If you leave you mirror selector switch right (passenger side) your mirror will not tilt when you put it in reverse. And, only your passenger mirror should tilt - at least on my X that's the only one that does.

Thanks guys. I knew it had to be something simple like that but I couldn't find it in the Manual.

Will try it today

I think I would reverse everything said here as the people in Oz drive on the correct side of the road.
