Missing pixels from radio

It seems like each week, I find that there is a pixel that keeps disappearing. then whole lines would disappear and reappear again. Is there a problem with the contacts maybe? It doesn't look like the pixels are burned out. They reappear at times. But then again, what would I know?

There is a common problem with the ribbon cable to the display itself.

They sell the parts on ebay.
Or you can just send it out to one of the many rebuilders...
