Help! Bumper removal

I'm installing my tow bar and can't get the @$#$#!!! bumper off. The driver side won't "slide" out.

I've removed the PDC cable, two T55 torx bolts, the four (2 each wheel well) 8mm bolts holding the plastic guard on, and removed the four tabs underneath. The passenger side slides off really easy. The driver side won't budge - even after hitting it with a rubber mallet. It seems to be caught up on the upper wheel well slide. What am I missing?

Got it! Fvcker was stuck on the bumper support. Had to wedge a handle from a floor jack between the bumper frame and bumper support to finesse it out.

Not sure..as I'm about to try the same thing and install a tow package on my 2003 silver 3.0. etrailer.com has videos that show you step by step how to remove, install the receiver, modify the flashing underneath and replace the bumper. Check it out and see if it helps. Just enter your vehicle info and scroll down to find the videos.

Good Luck!
