anyone paint style 130 wheels black?

wondering if anyone has done this mod and if they liked it?
Anyone have pictures?.
with it being winter in the northeast its definitely a decent winter rim and am considering making them black.

i did dont have pics because i removed em already. what i did do is paint with PlastiDip. its like rubber in spaypaint can.

Yeah thats what i did to my style 131s and i used Plastidip. Its still on there looks good.

This looks cool. I'd like to do my style 87. What kind of prep did you guys do to get a good coating?

washed and whiped em dry. when coating with plasti be carefull if you ever spray-painted youll be alright. the best thing about it is if you dont like the way it comes out you could just peel it off.

Looks awesome. Already backed out the chrome on my kidneys. I'll have to pick a good weekend to do this when the weather doesn't suck.

I was mostly worried about how they hold up but it looks like people on the jeep forums have done it with pretty good results.

have been running around and completely forgot to update this thread, i decided to paint my wheels and get bigger tires (235/65/17 to 255/60/17)
